Class Rules
I ask that students follow the same CAN-DO expectations in the art room as they would in their regular classroom.
1. Entering and leaving the room quietly (Calm Transitions)
2. Working hard and problem solving (Always Do My Job)
3. Using nice words when discussing other students’ art (Nice words/Honesty)
4. Showing respect for people and art materials (Demonstrate Respect for people/property)
5. Respecting personal space and the art room (Objects, hands, feet to myself)

ARTSONIA
ARTSONIA IS AN ONLINE STUDENT ART GALLERY! I will be posting your student's artwork to our gallery, so you have the oppurtunity to see what is happening in the art room as we do each project! I send a paper home within the first month of school, with your student's username and your parent code. If you need this information again, please don't hesitate to email me! After you have granted access, every time I upload their work you will be notified with an email. More info to follow! |
Artwork coming Home
I take a vast amount of pride in displaying the WCH students’ artwork in our school. Because of this, I will send the students artwork home only twice during the school year.
The first half of the year’s work will come home with your child right before winter break. The second half of the year’s art will be placed in a portfolio to be picked up at WCH’s Open House Night in the spring. If you cannot attend, it will be sent home with your child the next day of school.
I will keep some art projects until the end of year for display purposes and your child will take them home in May.
